Looking for karate classes in Borehamwood? Just behind Elstree Film Studios sits one of our most spacious and unique dojos — Maxwell Park Community Centre. We’ve been running classes here since 2012, and it’s become a well-loved venue for students and families from across Borehamwood, Elstree and beyond.

The space is big, bright and full of energy — and when the sun’s out, don’t be surprised to find the class training outside on the green next to the hall. It’s a great environment to learn martial arts in a fun and engaging way.

Fridays

Instructor: Assistant Chief Instructor Sensei Greg Walcott (4th Dan)
Ages 5–10: 6.15 – 7.10pm
Ages 11–17: 7.15 – 8.15pm

Meet Sensei Greg

Sensei Greg brings a huge amount of experience and precision to his teaching. He’s dynamic, focused, and known for helping students sharpen their skills while still enjoying the process. His classes are high-quality, well-structured and accessible to students of all levels.

The atmosphere on a Friday evening is friendly but focused — the perfect balance for progression and fun.
